Sake Poached Trout

bulletOne fresh trout
bullet1 cup sake
bullet¼ cup sugar
bullet1¼ cup soy sauce
bullet2 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
bullet2 Tbsp minced fresh cilantro

Combine all ingredients except the trout in a 9-inch skillet. Bring to a boil.

Put the trout into the skillet, reduce heat to simmer. Cover the skillet and simmer for twenty to thirty minutes, until the trout is done.
