Pimm's Cup is a British apertif available in most large liquor stores. It's mild for my taste, but a bit of gin and lemon cures that.

The "real" Sazerac has sugar syrup and anise liquer. My version is much less sweet and is refreshing on a summer evening. Just make sure that you use rye, not bourbon. It will make you feel as if you had left New Orleans and paid a visit to Sam Spade's office in San Francisco.
