The Moetini

This is a special recipe from my favorite bar tender in Chicago, Moe from the Metropole at the Fairmont Hotel, Chicago. Not only is Moe a wonderful, fun, and entertaining guy but he makes the best martinis in the city of Chicago! It took a lot of dedication on my part to discover this, but I did my research.

He makes my favorite martinis which are along the more purist lines of martini drinking and he also creates some more adventurous ones! So I asked him to share one of these for the Web site so here it is! And, as a bonus, a picture of the eponymous Moe (and me) in the bar at the Metropole.

Put all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake without mercy. Pour into your favorite martini glass!
