Put the milk into a two-cup glass measuring cup. Stir the sugar into it, then
add the cinnamon stick and cloves. Microwave at medium power for four minutes.
Let steep for fifteen minutes. Microwave again at medium power for three
minutes. Strain into a mug to remove the spices and the skin that might have
formed on the milk. Add the rum, stir briefly and enjoy.
You know that I'm not fond of sweets, but you need a little bit of sugar to
bring out the flavor of the spices. Use more or less as suits your taste.
